Hello and thank you for visiting!  Please allow me the opportunity to introduce myself.  As the founder of College Beyond Cancer, I am quite simply a mother with a vision.

I am a physical therapist with a strong commitment to education.  I believe that a college education is both an opportunity and an investment in oneself.  I believe that it provides a path for students to pursue their passions and positively impact both their own lives, but also those of others.  I also believe in the power of the crowd and philanthropic fundraising.  Having had the privilege of participating in team fundraising for the Pan-Mass Challenge, I am no stranger to fundraising for the benefit of children diagnosed with life threatening cancers and tumors.

Although my own education, life opportunities, and fundraising experiences provide motivation for me, it is being a mother that has been my inspiration for College Beyond Cancer.  I am the mother of a survivor who will always be the most resilient and amazing soul I could ever hope to meet.

I thank you for your time and I challenge you.  Whether you are a student, a contributor, or a visitor, I challenge you to help raise awareness of childhood cancers and to positively impact the lives of many young survivors by spreading the word about College Beyond Cancer!
