The many obstacles that ensue when one embarks on this journey are nothing shy of daunting. The financial implications alone can be overwhelming, quite often creating hardships before the pursuit of a college education begins. Students who are survivors have life experiences that have not only prepared them for the challenge of college or graduate education, but also, the challenge of taking an active role to finance it without compromising their financial future.
