Guidelines

 

Criteria for Posting a Profile

Anyone who wants to raise funds for their college or graduate school expenses and meets the following eligibility criteria, may post a profile on collegebeyondcancer.org:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.

 

  • You must have been diagnosed with a life threatening cancer on or before the age of 21. For eligibility purposes on this platform, this includes benign tumors that are considered life threatening secondary to anatomic location

 

  • You must currently be enrolled in college or graduate school.

 

  • You must be a United States citizen in order to receive the funds contributed to your fund raising campaign.

WePay is the third party credit card processor utilized by collegebeyondcancer.org for processing of fundraising contributions. In order to utilize WePay's service and receive funds contributed to your campaign, you must have a social security number, a United States billing address, and a United States bank account.  This information is only collected and used by WePay. You will not be asked to provide this information to College Beyond Cancer.

 

Criteria to Contribute to a Fund Raising Campaign

Anyone who wants to contribute funds to a campaign on collegebeyondcancer.org may do so, provided you meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.

 

  • You must have an American or international credit or debit card.

All contributions will be made directly through the third party credit card processor utilized by College Beyond Cancer, WePay. You will seamlessly be directed from College Beyond Cancer to WePay if you choose to contribute funds. WePay manages all financial transactions.  You will not be asked to provide any financial information on the College Beyond Cancer website.
